Diario di un fotografo murettista. Capitolo 11/11 – 44^ Buzetski Dani

Con la gara di Buzet si chiude un viaggio lungo 6 mesi, che mi ha portato a descrivere tanto, a volte penserete forse troppo di tutto quello che ho vissuto.

E non poteva mancare l’epilogo, il capitolo finale, la chiusura di questo sogno.

Si, perchè per me fare tutto il campionato europeo è stato un sogno, prima da murettista bambino poi ora, da adulto fotografo.

E Buzet non delude mai, è il degno finale di un campionato discusso e controverso, tirato e litigato, che ha visto ancora una volta l’Italia primeggiare, come altre decine di volte da almeno 40 anni.

Non entro nel merito dei vincitori e degli sconfitti ma questi avevano un tricolore da issare una volta vinto e, siate sinceri, non vi sembra paradossale la cosa?

Dominiamo l’Europa ma in casa siamo in preda ad un declino sportivo ed umano (all’interno delle salite) ormai da anni.. beh, a me fa sorridere, pensare ed un pò incazzare ma, al solito, procediamo per gradi.

Buzet sa più di Italia che di Croazia, con il cibo che ricorda molto il nostro, la pasta fatta in casa, con la gente ospitale e cordiale, casinara, con molte persone che parlano un italiano molto buono, meglio di tanti madrelingua e che si esibiscono in un dialetto che per molti tratti ricorda il friulano o il veneto, farcito di belle imprecazioni che sanno tanto di casa (ma non di Vaticano, ndr).

Il campanile arroccato sulla collina, al centro dell’incantevole paese vecchio prima ti accoglie dalla strada, immersa in un verde rigoglioso e curato, meravigliosamente liscia, poi troneggia sul paddock, sul percorso, sulla vita delle persone e vigila affinché tutto, nell’atto finale di questo campionato combattuto, vada per il verso giusto.

Il venerdì è stato caldo e nervoso, il malcontento, non solo per le vicende già note si percepiva forte ed è forse stato il più strano delle 11 tappe del Cem, non è stata la solita bella festa che ho descritto finora, ma ci sta, ci si giocano posizioni, vittorie, coppe e l’anomalia della FIA nell’assegnazione dei punteggi ha fatto il resto.

Poi, che è stata lunga e snervante è stata detto? Eh si, come nella precedente tappa slovena ci sono state molte interruzioni e molte bandiere rosse e si è arrivati a concludere la competizione quasi a notte. Ma posso dirlo? Che figata!

E’ bello vedere piloti che danno anima e corpo, che non risparmiano nulla pur di dare spettacolo, è bello vedere le vetture trasformate, evolute anno per anno, è bello vedere tanti tipi di auto, è bello vedere la passione, l’attaccamento, l’orgoglio di chi indossa una t-shirt con una scritta che per molti non dirà nulla ma che per alcuni è motivo di orgoglio, è il motivo per cui una piccolissima città al centro della Croazia è sul tetto d’Europa.

Ma la figata, personalmente è si, vivere tutto questo, ma viverlo con gli amici più stretti, gente che come me vive di gare, di scarichi liberi, di rumori e di benzina.

E’ straordinario ogni volta, organizzare, partire, viaggiare dividendo la guida, una birra, un panino, una fetta di salame o un un bicchiere di vino.

Cenare e ridere, raccontare, rivivere. Svegliarsi all’alba e “colonizzare” una curva, facendo fronte comune, sventolando con orgoglio quel drappo tricolore.

E’ bello essere riconosciuti, a volte presi per pazzi, ma è bello esserci e condividere.

Quest’anno dalla mia città (non dirò quale per non svelare il segreto di Pulcinella) siamo partiti in 12, quella sporca dozzina, affamata e assetata oltre che di cose commestibili, di avventura, di motori, di vivere qualcosa di diverso, di rivedere finalmente una competizione che può essere considerata tale e di vedere, come li abbiamo battezzati noi, “chigghie nuostre” (trad.: i nostri), ovvero tutti quei piloti che con mezzi e guida fuori dall’ordinario hanno reso emozionante tutto il campionato europeo. Ormai possiamo considerarli quasi di famiglia ed è incredibile come i miei compagni di viaggio, ma anche io dopo 3 anni di gare all’estero e 11 quest’anno, siamo increduli nel vedere certe macchine, quasi come se fossimo bambini alla scoperta del mondo. Ogni volta è come la prima.

Immaginate questo, ora che in Italia stanno gradualmente allontanando il pubblico dai percorsi, immaginate uno scambio culturale, culinario tra noi ed i croati, immaginate di ritrovare a 700 km da casa quelle persone viste una volta, magari l’anno prima, che ti abbracciano come fratelli ritrovati e a modo loro ti fanno capire la gioia di rivedervi li, in un paese che non è menzionato nemmeno nelle app del meteo, alla loro gara, nel loro paese.

Immaginate il calore dei fumogeni, la luce, che di notte ti entra nelle pupille, il fumo che brucia nella gola e che “accarezza” il viso già accaldato da una giornata al sole, immaginate migliaia di persone festanti al passaggio del serpentone, immaginate i vincitori e i vinti, applauditi allo stesso modo perchè non ci sono fazioni, schieramenti o rivalità, immaginate di essere in uno stadio, ma per tifare 200 e più eroi.

Certe emozioni, come ho già detto in precedenza, non si possono spiegare. Io personalmente quando sono li, respiro profondamente, chiudo gli occhi, lascio che mente e cuore facciano il pieno di sensazioni e si, a volte mi emoziono. Non mi vergogno a dirlo.

Perchè quello che ho per questa disciplina è amore, viscerale, incondizionato, senza fine.

GRAZIE a tutte le persone che ho conosciuto, agli amici vecchi e nuovi, a chi ha condiviso con me viaggi, nottate, chilometri, un letto o un pasto, grazie a chi mi ha offerto una birra sul percorso solo perché “Dall’ Italia sei venuto qui?”, GRAZIE ai direttori di gara, GRAZIE ai commissari, agli addetti stampa e ultimi ma non per importanza GRAZIE ai piloti e al bell’ambiente che hanno creato, GRAZIE per quanto visto sui percorsi e per aver portato in giro vetture straordinarie, piccoli mostri di potenza, piccoli capolavori di estetica. GRAZIE per avermi dimostrato cordialità, amicizia, ospitalità, grazie per avermi aperto e permesso di fotografare liberamente ogni aspetto della loro vita al paddock, senza negarmi nulla. Grazie dei sorrisi anche quando le gare non sono state fantastiche. E pensare che ci sono piloti in Italia che dopo 20 anni che giro non mi dicono nemmeno “ciao”.

Infine, giunti all’ undicesimo capitolo di questo folle giro dal Portogallo alla Polonia, GRAZIE a voi, che mi avete sopportato, letto, commentato, condiviso, fatto i complimenti dicendomelo in faccia e criticato sicuramente dietro le spalle (come Italia insegna).

Lunga vita alle salite (anche se qualcuno spera nell’eutanasia) ed ora, quello che è nato come una sorta di mantra di buon auspicio, è diventato realtà… #cemintero!!!

Il sole è sceso su questa stagione, il tramonto ha illuminato per l’ultima volta le auto ed in attesa del 2026, sipario!!
